Guitar was a Birthday gift from my band mates Neil & Nature Man.

Smokey was handmade by luthier Don Wilson

This guitar is sweet, it plays very buttery and sounds like the Carter Family acousticly or like Jim Hall when plugged into my Fender Vibroverb.

The finish is unbelievable. It's like a museum piece. I get lots of comments on this beauty.

His company Spruce Peak Acoustic Instruments, has recently started building archtop acoustic guitars.We modeled Smokey after a 1925 Gibson L5 that I saw a picture of, in the Vintage Guitar Magazine.
